Setting up your workspace
You will learn the different fields of the workspace, set up the connection with your BIMcollab ID and load the example model.
Navigating in 3D
Dive deeper into navigating in 3D and viewing the model from every angle. You will explore the navigation tree, selecting different parts of the model, looking up the properties, work with 'my view' and toggling the model visibility.
Validating Models
You will learn BIMcollab Zoom's unique way of doing free model validation on your models.
By using the smart views you will visualize the content of your model by colorizing the differences.
Managing Issues
You will get familiar with issues, how to assign them to your team members and how to manage them effectively.
Creating your first project
You will become well equipped to set up your first project, so you can begin with collaboration.
Collaborating
Finally, you will connect to the whole BIMcollab ecosystem. You will learn how collaborate with your team and be part of a complete communication flow in a BIM project.

What is the difference between BIMcollab Zoom and BIMcollab Zoom free?
BIMcollab Zoom free is our basic version of the BIMcollab Zoom software. When you purchase a license, you get access to additional beneficial features such as data extraction, rule based clash detection, flexible grouping of clash-results, automated clash management with Smart Issues, and more.

Do I need a paid BIMcollab Zoom license for this course?
No. This course covers everything in BIMcollab Zoom free.
Is there homework to complete?
There is no homework or assignments. However, you will be required to pass the exams to receive the certificate of knowledge.
What happens if I fail the exam?
To pass the exam, you need a grade of 80% or higher. If you fail, you may continue to study and take it as many times as you need.
How long will I have access to the course material?
This course (and further updates) will be available to you as long as the course is available in our academy.
What do I need to get started?
